1. Recording and processing of data
By using the Website, you leave behind certain personal data. A distinction must thereby be made between (personal) data provided actively and passively. Personal data provided actively is the data you filled out on the Website yourself. In order to allocate the Discount earned by 24/7 Discount to you in the form of a Credit, registration is required. 24/7 Discount saves the personal data filled out by you, such as your first name, e-mail address, and your preferences regarding the receipt of newsletters. Upon registration, we only ask you to fill out necessary information. At a later time, you can supplement it in your Account if you so desire.
E-mail and newsletter
Registration on the Website (and giving your approval for the General Conditions) means that you agree with the receipt, on a regular basis, of newsletters and e-mails with things such as discount campaigns of Advertisers associated with 24/7 Discount. In your Account, you can indicate which communications you do/do not wish to receive. Every newsletter also contains a link through which you can unsubscribe. 24/7 Discount receives itself the right to send you important, non-promotional e-mails regarding your Account (for instance regarding the Credit), even if you have unsubscribed for the newsletters and e-mails of 24/7 Discount.
Username and password
Your username is linked to a password. You are responsible yourself for handling your password with diligence. 24/7 Discount assumes that a person logging in with your username and password is authorised to use your Account. When you suspect that the password is known unauthorised parties, you must contact us as soon as possible, so we can take measures, or change your password yourself.
Account
In your Account, you have access to the personal data you have provided to 24/7 Discount and you can change this data if you wish. Your Account is only accessible with your username and password. It is not permitted to provide the password to third parties, in order to prevent abuse.
Retention period
We will keep the data actively provided to us by you for as long as your Account is in use or until you indicate that you wish to remove the Account. If you want to remove your Account, you can contact us.
4. Passively provided data
Clicking behaviour and visitors' data
On the Website, general visitors' data is kept in order to be able to create statistical analyses regarding the Website. By general visitors' data are intended, amongst other things, the IP-address of your computer, the time of the visit, surfing behaviour, and information that the browser of a visitor sends along.
The use of cookies
The Website makes use of cookies. A cookie is a simple, tiny file that is sent along with pages of this Website and that is stored by your browser on the hard disc of your computer. Thanks to a cookie, Transactions of Members can be registered. Upon registration of a Transaction, information is only registered to be able to add the Discount to the account of the Member. This may regard, for example, the date/time of the purchase, the name of the Web Shop, the purchase amount, and a number to recognise the Member. The Website does not receive a credit card number or other information you fill out when making a purchase at the Web Shop. It is possible to deactivate cookies, but 24/7 Discount strongly disadvises. Because the deactivation of the cookies will seriously hamper the functionality of the Website. Purchases cannot be registered without cookies and the Discount can in such case not be attributed to the Account of the Member. After logging in with your username and password, our Website automatically places a cookie on your computer in order to be able to recognise you during the remainder of a session. By way of this cookie, 24/7 Discount registers which Web Shops you visit. This information is used to register your purchases, to be able to allocate the Discount you earned, and to optimise the Website and accommodate your wishes and preferences.
Retention period
We do not retain passively provided data for any longer than is necessary for the purpose it was collected for.
